Renato S. Faucz, Rosângela T. Hidalgo, Linei A.B.D. Urban

ABSTRACT

Multiple papillomas are benign tumors that affect young patients. These tumors are associated with an increased risk of recurrence and predisposition to the development of underlying breast cancer. The authors report a case of a patient with multiple unilateral papillomatosis. This patient was submitted to excision of 21 papillomas in order to demonstrate the main imaging features of this disease, including mammography, ultrasonography and ductography findings.
